Swinging

Today was an unseasonably warm day, so we took the boys out back to swing. This was Nathan's first time swinging, and he LOVED it! Please excuse the dirty swings (they got pretty dirty with all the yucky weather we've had lately). I have a great video, but can't seem to get that to work today... I'll try to post that another time!

Chillin' in our jammies

Saturday was a great day! We had nothing going on, and since we're all getting over (or trying to get over) this nasty cold bug, we spent the day in our jammies. Sean and Nathan has a great time playing together. Sean still cracks Nathan up with just about everything he does - and that makes Sean act like a clown to get him to laugh! It was a fun, relaxing morning!

Imagination Movers

For those of you with young children, you are probably aware of a show on the Disney Channel called Imagination Movers. Sean REALLY likes their music (it is quite catchy!), but could take or leave the show. But when I heard they were coming to the Assembly Hall, I just HAD to get tickets.

So, last Monday, for an early birthday present, Sean, Jamie and I headed to the show! We had amazing tickets (A), and MOMMY even got to touch Rich's hand (I'll never wash it again... okay, I will because I'm H1N1 paranoid). Sean really liked it - he just stared at everything soaking it all in, but Jamie and also really enjoyed the show. I always appreciate it when a children's show uses tasteful adult humor to entertain the parents as well. I honestly don't think I have laughed that hard in a long time!!

Waiting for the show to start and enjoying our dinner 'o junk food!

The movers!

Having fun!

World's cutest puppy

All month at school, they been preparing for Halloween! Talking about how to trick or treat, making pumpkins, bats, "ghosts", etc. In fact, Sean cracks us up how everytime you knock on the door (or table, or countertop) he yells, "Trick or Treat!" He was SO excited to go trick or treating... excited that is, until it was actually time! He wouldn't let me paint his nose, didn't want to go up to any door - nothing. Daddy was disappointed that he didn't come home well stocked in the chocolate department! :-)

It didn't matter to me though, he is still the world's cutest puppy dog! Here he is pre-trick or treating:

And right during (what a sad look!)

Nathan's First Halloween

This Halloween begins an exciting time for Mr. Nathan... it's the first in a series of many firsts! First Halloween, first Thanksgiving, first Christmas, etc. Mhy little baby didn't diappoint either. I realize I'm WAY biased, but is this not the cutest chicken you've EVER seen?!?!?

Halloween Parade at ABC

Here are a few pictures from the Halloween Parade at the boys daycare. Unfortunately, the weather was horrible (rainy, cold, windy, etc.) so we all had to pile into the gross motor room, but the kids were adorbale as ever!

Daycare pic

Today I got another text message from Nathan's teacher. The caption of this post was "I think I've got myself in a bit of a pickle!" Although Nathan isn't crawling, he can get from one side of the room to another in no time flat, and can really get himself into interesting places! See for yourself!

Trying on "Big Pumpkin"

Although Sean is still telling everyone that he's going to be a "Big Pumpkin" for Halloween, he is NOT. Tonight we were trying it on so that he's comfortable in it for the parade at school (and Halloween of course!), so I snapped a few shots. What do you think? Just about the cutest puppy dog you've ever seen, huh? What 'til you see my little chicken!

"I hold it!"

Sean is still all about holding Nathan. And yes, I realize Nathan is not an "it", but that's what Sean says, "Mama, I hold it!" I'll tell ya, there is nothing sweeter than watching my boys together!!!

I love Nathan's expression in this picture!

Just hanging out

Just a few shots from tonight. We tend to strip Nathan down in order to avoid spit up on the jammies, so please excuse the naked-ness! :-) On a side note, we did start Nathan on medicine to help with the GERD, so hopefully Mommy will be doing a lot less laundry in the near future! :-)

Aren't my boys cute? Look at Nathan's smile - INFECTIOUS!!!

It always fascinates me how Sean will so intently play with Nathan's toys! Notice the tongue out...
