Our peanut's height/weight update

Well, this update is a little late, but I thought I'd update it none the less! :-) Last Thursday I took Sean in for his height/weight check with the nurse to make sure he is continuing to progress (we have to go every three months). Just for comparisson, here are the stats from our visit on May 15th:

Height: 29.5 inches (1.25%)
Weight: 18 lbs, 6 oz. (0.06%)

Although Jamie and I were SURE he weighed 20 pounds by now (probably not an ounce more, but at least 20 pounds), here was the results from our August 14th visit:

Height: 30.25 inches (0.89%)
Weight: 18 lbs, 15 oz. (0.04%)

So as you can see, there isn't a big change in the three months, BUT he has started walking/running/climbing/swinging/etc. a lot more. I'm sure if I was as active as him I'd be a skinny little thing too! :-)

The nurse said she would pass on the information to the doctor and that she would call if she was concerned about anything. Well, last night we got a call from the nurse (which of course made my stomach drop), but she was just calling to say that the Dr. thought everything was fine and she would see him in another three months (for his 2 YEAR check). She said that we would get us in if we had any concerns between now and then, but that he is still gaining/growing! I have to admit, his growth chart makes me giggle when I see it (compared to the "average" child), but hey, he's healthy!!!

We are getting ready to leave for Colorado a week from tomorrow to visit Jamie's family, so we're pretty excited about that. I'm sure we'll have LOTS of pictures to post from our trip. Have a wonderful weekend everyone!!!

Good to see how well your family is doing and I love seeing all the pics of Sean. What a cutie! Don't worry he'll get on those charts! Our last, Evan, was always OFF(over the top) the charts from the time she was 3 months old. Everyone thinks Ella and Evan are twins, and finally I got tired of explaing they weren't so now I just say they are. Every child is just so different. Good to see is healthy! I will love keeping up with your family this way!
