It's a... GIRL!

So many people have said to us, "I wonder if you had a girl if she would look like Jamie?" Cause you know, a Mommy can never get too tired of hearing that her kids look nothing like her... anyway, I digress.

Well, I have a feeling the answer would be a firm yes. So just to prove it to you, here is a picture of Nathan with a bow in his hair. What do you think - a pretty girl or handsome boy?!? :-)

Happy Valentine's Day!

Nathan's first Valentine's Day was the best! He was as cute as can be in his "I'm Bananas over Mommy" jammies (gee, I wonder who got him those???). Sean had a matching pair, but he was "too cool" to have his picture taken in them. :)

Nathan - Nine month well-baby check up

Today was Nathan's nine month check up! YIKES! Do you know what that means??? His next check up will be his ONE YEAR! I'm so not ready for that one, but anywho...

The good news is he's very healthy and happy! The bad news (if you can call it "bad"), he had to get three shots that he wasn't able to get back at his six month appt. since he was sick. He was a trooper though! He also has thrush (not fun, but not uncommon) - it is treated with medicine that is administered four times a day for fourteen days. Good times! :-)

At first, Dr. Striegel was a little concerned with his height and weight, but then she said, "Wait a minute... let me look something up..." and pulled up Sean's stats. She turned back around and said, "Never mind - we're good!" She forgot that we make little babies!!! She said that he will probably be considered to have short stature as well, but that wasn't surprising! Plus, at least now I don't have to worry about Nathan being so much bigger than his "big" brother and kicking his you-know-what!

My sweet little guy weighs 16 lbs., 10 oz (2nd percentile) and is 27 1/8 inches (11th percentile). He may be little, but he's just a sweet as can be! He's crawling all over the place, loving any food he can feed himself (he's SO over baby food), babbles ALL the time and is just about as cute as they come!

I know I say it all the time, but we have the cutest boys in the world!!!

Fun on a snow day

We got a BUNCH of snow today (and it's still coming!) so the boys daycare was closed. Jamie and I split the day which was nice! I had to snap a few shots from this afternoon so you can see what the Lance boys do on a snow day.
